Their journey to Zziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch included a refreshing stopover at Café Marlette in Migyera, where they enjoyed coffee and relaxation before continuing.
They arrived at Zziwa Sanctuary around 11 AM, checked in, and had lunch at the ranch. The afternoon was dedicated to tracking two rhino families, a rewarding adventure lasting about two hours that allowed John to see these majestic creatures in their protected environment before returning to the comfortable accommodations.
The following day greeted John with the awe-inspiring sight of rhinos quietly resting outside his room in the early morning. After breakfast, they spent about two hours tracking more rhinos, capturing stunning photographs to remember the encounter. Post lunch, the safari continued with giraffe tracking. They successfully spotted around 14 giraffes, marveling at their graceful presence as they roamed freely within the sanctuary.
On the last day, after checking out from Zziwa, the duo headed back toward Entebbe, stopping at Mabamba Swamp to experience the thrill of spotting the elusive shoebill stork in the wild. The two-hour excursion at the swamp was a perfect finale, enriching their safari with one more exceptional bird sighting. They returned to Entebbe for lunch, concluding their unforgettable three-day adventure.
