After exploring the tombs, the journey continued toward Fort Portal, driving through scenic landscapes for approximately six hours. They arrived at Lake Nyamirima Cottages nestled within the lush Kibale Forest, setting the tone for the wildlife-rich days ahead.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi

Day 6: Kigali City Tour and Genocide Memorial
Crossing over to Rwanda, the group settled into Iris Guest House in Kigali. The afternoon was dedicated to a meaningful visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a somber but crucial historical site. Afterwards, they enjoyed a leisurely two-hour walk around Kigali city, exploring its vibrant streets, markets, and culture.
Day 7: Transfer to Volcanos National Park and Stay at Home Inn Hotel
The safari continued with a transfer to Volcanos National Park. The group checked in at Home Inn Hotel Rwanda, preparing for the golden monkey tracking experience and other park activities.
Day 8: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

The morning golden monkey tracking safari offered playful and intimate views of these rare primates amidst the bamboo forests. After a rewarding trek, the guests checked out from Home Inn Hotel and crossed back into Uganda heading to Lake Mburo National Park. They checked into Igongo Country Hotel & Cultural Centre, blending nature with cultural heritage.
Day 9: Lake Mburo Game Drive and Return to Entebbe
The final day featured an exciting game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, home to zebras, impalas, hippos, and numerous bird species. In the afternoon, the clients checked out and made their way directly to Entebbe, concluding a remarkable 9-day safari that wove together wildlife thrills, cultural insights, and breathtaking landscapes.
